Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
  • You have had or will have deep brain stimulation to the subthalamic nucleus (an area deep in the brain using small electrodes to treat movement symptoms).
  • Your thinking score is at least 20 on a common memory and thinking test.
  • You speak German or French well and are able to give informed consent.
  • You allow researchers to use your routine medical data from the hospital.
  • You must not have another major brain condition like Alzheimer's, stroke or a brain tumour.
