  • You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease using standard criteria.
  • You are being considered for deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery because your symptoms fluctuate.
  • You have taken medication for Parkinson's (dopaminergic therapy).
  • You had DBS surgery 4 to 8 weeks before the study tests.
  • You are not over 80 years old.
  • You do not have dementia, active psychosis, depression with suicidal thoughts, or other unstable medical conditions.
