Finding lymph nodes during testicular cancer surgery

Who can take part

  • You have a tumor in your testicle that is suspected to be cancer and needs to be removed with surgery.
  • You are male.
  • The tumor is 5 centimeters or smaller in size.
  • Your cancer has not spread to distant parts of your body, and you meet specific criteria for lymph nodes and tumor marker levels in your blood.
  • You do not plan to have chemotherapy or radiation after your surgery, and you are not able to have close follow-up tests.
  • You are able to understand the study and give written consent.
