Robotic sentinel node biopsy for testicular cancer

Who can take part

  • You have a testicular tumor confirmed by physical exam and ultrasound, with or without elevated tumor markers (AFP or β-HCG).
  • No signs of cancer spread in CT scans of the chest and abdomen.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You can communicate with the study team and understand and sign the consent form.
  • No prior scrotal or retroperitoneal surgery for a non-germ cell tumor, and no prior chemotherapy or radiation to the retroperitoneum.
  • No allergy to ICG dye or iodine, no serious health conditions, and no psychiatric illness.
