Who can take part
- You are having surgery to remove a testicle due to suspected testicular cancer or a nearby tumor.
- You are 18 years or older and can agree to participate.
- You are not currently taking strong painkillers (opioids) for any reason.
- Your tumor does not extend beyond the testicle into the scrotum (T4 stage).
- You have not had chemotherapy or radiation before the surgery.
- Your surgeon can use a standard 8 cm or smaller incision in the groin area.
