Who can take part
- You have advanced or metastatic breast cancer that is hormone receptor-positive and HER2-negative.
- Your tumor has a PIK3CA gene mutation (this must be confirmed by a lab test).
- You have tried at least one hormone therapy that did not work, or the cancer returned within 12 months of finishing it.
- You have not taken fulvestrant or any other similar drug (SERD) before, and you have not taken any PI3K, AKT, or mTOR inhibitor before.
- You are between 18 and 75 years old and are in generally good health (able to do daily activities).
- If you are premenopausal or a man, you must agree to receive ovarian suppression during the study.
