Radiation or observation after surgery for low-risk meningioma

This trial compares two approaches for people who have had surgery to remove a meningioma, a usually non-cancerous brain tumor. Depending on the tumor's risk level, participants either receive radiation therapy or are observed without additional treatment, to see which approach provides better control.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have had surgery to remove a meningioma within the last 6 months.
  • The tumor was completely or partially removed, confirmed by an MRI after surgery.
  • Your tumor is a type called WHO grade 1 or 2 meningioma.
  • You have not had radiation therapy to the head in the last 10 years that would overlap with this treatment area.
  • You are generally in good health, with no serious heart problems or active infections.
