Improving flu vaccine response with hands-on therapy in at-risk adults
Part of Infections, Lungs & breathing clinical trials.
This study tests whether a hands-on therapy called osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) can improve the body's response to the flu vaccine. If you are an adult who is willing to get both the flu shot and OMT, this could help make the vaccine more effective for you.

This study looks at getting an influenza (flu) vaccine in adults age 75 and older. It may help doctors understand how to safely give flu shots to older adults.
This trial studies how well your immune system responds to a vaccine in people who are younger adults or, especially, older adults and those with frailty. Your participation may help researchers understand why vaccine responses can differ with age.
This study tests whether osteopathic manipulation (a gentle hands-on treatment) helps older adults recover from common respiratory illnesses like bronchitis or pneumonia when added to regular care.
