This study looks at whether people with rheumatoid arthritis who are stable on a TNF inhibitor plus another drug can safely stop the second drug. It aims to see if stopping the extra medicine keeps the disease under control and reduces side effects.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have rheumatoid arthritis, diagnosed by a doctor.
  • Your disease has been stable (low activity) for at least 6 months.
  • You are currently taking a TNF inhibitor (a type of biologic drug) and either methotrexate or leflunomide.
  • You have been on a stable dose of your TNF inhibitor for at least 6 months and your other medicine for at least 3 months.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy during the study.
