Combination treatment before surgery for soft tissue sarcoma
Treatments studied
Part of Cancer clinical trials.
This trial tests a combination of radiation therapy, a lower dose of chemotherapy, and an immunotherapy drug called toripalimab before surgery for a rare type of soft tissue sarcoma called undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma (UPS). The aim is to shrink the tumor and improve the chances of successful surgery.

- Your doctor can safely aim radiation at the tumor without damaging nearby critical structures like major nerves, blood vessels, or joints.

This trial tests whether adding a new drug called DT-7012 to standard chemotherapy (doxorubicin) works better than chemotherapy alone for two types of advanced soft tissue sarcoma. It aims to see if the combination can shrink tumors or slow their growth.
This trial tests a shorter, 3-week course of radiation therapy (using protons or standard X-rays) given before surgery for localized soft tissue sarcoma. It aims to see if this approach is safe and effective for treating the tumor while reducing side effects.
This trial studies a high-dose, shortened course of proton beam radiation for people with soft tissue sarcoma that cannot be removed by surgery. It aims to improve tumor control while reducing side effects.
This trial tests a combination of radiation therapy and two drugs (anlotinib and penpulimab) given before surgery for soft tissue sarcoma. The goal is to see if this approach can shrink tumors and improve outcomes.
This trial tests giving chemotherapy together with a targeted treatment before surgery for people with a high-risk retroperitoneal sarcoma. The goal is to shrink or control the tumor so surgery can potentially remove it with minimal remaining disease (R0/R1).
This trial tests a new approach for people with a rare type of cancer called retroperitoneal sarcoma, which grows in the back of the belly. It combines a short course of radiation and an immunotherapy drug before surgery, aiming to shrink the tumor and improve the chances of successful removal.
