Who can take part

  • You have a confirmed high-risk retroperitoneal sarcoma (DDLPS, LMS, UPS, or high-risk SFT).
  • Your tumor has not had surgery beyond biopsy, and you have not had chemo, radiation, or targeted therapy yet.
  • There is no history of another cancer (second malignancy) and no confirmed or highly suspected spread to other organs.
  • You have specific tumor subtype details: DDLPS needs special marker tests; LMS needs tumor size 10 cm or larger; UPS includes all grades; SFT must be high-risk by a specific score.
  • Your doctor believes surgery can achieve R0/R1 removal, and your overall health is good enough for chemo and surgery.
  • You can understand the consent form and agree to participate; you cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, and pregnancy prevention is required if applicable.
