REC-7735 for people with advanced solid tumors
Part of Cancer clinical trials.
This study tests a new drug called REC-7735 for people with solid tumors that have a specific genetic change (PIK3CA H1047R). The drug targets this change to try to stop the cancer from growing.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.
Who can take part
- You must have a solid tumor (a cancer that forms a lump) that has spread or can't be removed by surgery.
- Your tumor must have a specific genetic change called PIK3CA H1047R (your doctor can test for this).
- If you are in the first part of the study, you must have already tried at least one standard cancer treatment, or been told that standard treatment isn't right for you.
- Any side effects from earlier treatments should have mostly gone away (except hair loss or nerve pain).
- You must not have diabetes that is poorly controlled (unless you are in a special part of the study).
