Blood pressure and oxygen levels during heart surgery
Part of Brain & nervous system, Heart & circulation, Kidney & urinary clinical trials.
This study looks at how blood pressure changes during the start of open heart surgery and whether it affects oxygen levels in body tissues. It may help doctors better manage blood pressure during surgery to keep patients safe.

This trial looks at how a breathing maneuver during surgery can safely lower blood pressure and help doctors decide whether you need extra fluids. It may help guide your care during surgery to keep you stable and reduce complications.
This trial compares two ways of giving oxygen during a heart surgery that uses small chest cuts. One method is a face mask, the other is a high-flow nasal tube. The study will see which keeps your oxygen levels better while you are awake but relaxed.
This study looks at whether keeping blood pressure and brain oxygen levels steady during heart surgery can help doctors spot problems with blood flow to organs after the operation. It may help improve recovery and prevent complications.
This study looks at how blood pressure changes and oxygen levels after heart surgery relate to complications. It may help improve care for patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) after their first heart surgery.
This trial tests a new method to monitor blood pressure during heart surgery that uses a heart-lung machine. It is for people at higher risk for stroke or other brain blood vessel issues.
This study looks at how blood pressure medications affect low blood pressure episodes that happen during and after heart surgery. Researchers want to understand if the number of blood pressure drugs you take before surgery changes how your body handles blood pressure during the operation.
