Study of an antiviral to treat achalasia-related nerve inflammation
This trial looks at whether the antiviral medicine valacyclovir, plus Shingrix vaccine, can change disease affecting the gut’s nerve system in people with achalasia. If you’re eligible, you would complete specific swallow and pressure tests and then take the medicines for about two months.
