This study tests whether using a temporary heart pump called Impella 5.5 can help strengthen a very weak and enlarged heart (dilated cardiomyopathy) in people who are waiting for a heart transplant. If you qualify, the pump is placed to support your heart temporarily, and the research team will check how your heart responds.

Comparing two heart failure medications in ICD patients
This trial compares two beta-blocker medications, carvedilol and metoprolol succinate, to see which one works better for people with heart failure who have an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD).
