Who can take part

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Your heart pumping strength (left ventricular ejection fraction) is 50% or less within the last 6 months
  • Your heart’s electrical timing is delayed (QRS ≥130 ms) OR you expect to need a lot of right-chamber pacing (more than 40%) OR you already have a device causing that pacing
  • You are on the best standard heart-failure medicines already, or your doctor can work to start and slowly raise them before the pacing procedure
  • You should not be pregnant, nursing, or planning pregnancy during the study
  • You can do follow-up visits as scheduled and are able to have the required heart tests and imaging (including contrast dye if needed)
