- NCT04886284RecruitingPhase 2
Cefazolin plus ertapenem for MSSA bloodstream infection
This Phase 2 study tests whether adding ertapenem to cefazolin can improve treatment of staphylococcus (“S. aureus”) bloodstream infection that is likely methicillin-susceptible (MSSA). It aims to start the right antibiotics quickly, before MRSA status is fully confirmed, using early testing and a treatment plan guided by infectious-disease specialists.

Antibiotic prevention for certain liver disease patients

Oral antibiotic step-down for ESBL bladder infections
This Phase 3 trial tests whether switching from short-term IV antibiotics to an oral antibiotic combo is safe and effective for ESBL urine infections. It may help you avoid staying on IV antibiotics as long, if your bacteria are the right match.
