This trial tests whether combining an NMDA “signal-supporting” treatment with an anti-inflammatory medicine can reduce symptoms in people with schizophrenia who don’t respond well to usual antipsychotic drugs. If you’ve tried at least two antipsychotics and you’re still symptomatic, this study may be worth screening for.

NMDA and antioxidant add-on to treat schizophrenia symptoms
This Phase 2 trial tests whether adding an “NMDA-enhancing” treatment plus an antioxidant can improve ongoing schizophrenia symptoms over 12 weeks. It’s meant for people who still have symptoms even though their usual antipsychotic dose has been stable for at least 3 months.

This trial tests a combination of an NMDA-targeting medicine and an anti-inflammatory treatment for people with schizophrenia that has not responded well to several standard treatments, including clozapine.
