Who can take part

  • Your child is between birth and 18 years old
  • Your child has been diagnosed with a stroke or a high-risk condition (such as sickle cell disease, blood vessel abnormalities, or inflammation of blood vessels) after January 1, 2003
  • Your child is treated at one of the participating hospitals in the International Pediatric Stroke Study
  • You are willing to provide informed consent for your child's medical information to be included in the registry
  • Your child was not born prematurely if diagnosed with certain types of stroke
