Who can take part

  • Be age 2 to 85 (or for family members: age 8 to 85)
  • Have a known primary immune disorder or immune imbalance (or be a close blood relative of someone with one)
  • Be enrolled at the NIH in a specific genetics-testing immune disorder study (examples: 05-I-0213 or 06-I-0015)
  • Be medically stable enough for a biopsy and not have bleeding risks that make the sample unsafe
  • If doing nasal scraping: you must not have had turbinectomy or major nasal problems that prevent taking the sample
