Who can take part
- Be at least 7 years old (or at least 18 if you’re a healthy volunteer)
- Be willing to have genetic testing
- If you have gum disease: you must have significant bone loss and signs of active inflammation
- If you’re a healthy volunteer: you should be in good general health with at least 20 natural teeth
- No current serious safety issues as judged by your care team
