Who can take part
- You have pulmonary hypertension with a mean lung artery pressure of 25 mm Hg or higher at rest
- You must be able to do heart/lung testing such as an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) and an ECG (heart tracing)
- If you are in the control group, you’re having specific heart procedures/tests (like closing a certain heart valve opening or work-up for a harmless murmur) and your heart structure is normal
- Your pulmonary hypertension must not be from a reversible cause
- You must be at least 5 years old for the phase-2 part of the study
