Who can take part

  • Be an adult age 18 or older
  • Have symptoms when standing—dizziness or feeling lightheaded—that improve when you lie down
  • Be referred to one of the participating study sites for standing-related intolerance
  • Do not have diabetes by standard diabetes diagnosis criteria
  • Do not have serious heart failure (congestive heart failure) or lupus/other connective-tissue diseases
  • Be able and willing to follow the study plan and return for follow-up visits
