This study looks at how hormones, metabolism, and body signals relate to pulmonary arterial hypertension. You may be eligible if you (or a family member) have idiopathic, inherited, or related pulmonary arterial hypertension, and you can do required blood and other testing.

Who can take part

  • You have idiopathic, inherited, or related pulmonary arterial hypertension (or are a close family member of someone who does)
  • Your age is between 0 and 90 for most parts of the study
  • For skin biopsy, you must be between 12 and 90
  • You can travel to the clinic easily for blood and other tests (for the blood-focused part of the study)
  • You can tolerate fasting before sample collection and a test called EndoPAT
