Who can take part
- You have a single brain tumor that has spread from another cancer (metastasis) that is at least 3 cm wide, or a smaller tumor (2–3 cm) that is causing symptoms.
- The tumor can be surgically removed, and you do not need emergency surgery right now.
- You are at least 18 years old, generally healthy enough for surgery, and able to have an MRI scan with contrast dye.
- Your daily activities are not severely limited (ECOG score 0–2, Karnofsky score 60% or higher).
- You are expected to live at least 3 more months.
