Algae 9-cis powder to improve vision in teens with retinitis pigmentosa

Who can take part

  • Be between 12 and 18 years old
  • Have retinitis pigmentosa confirmed by a standard eye test called ERG
  • Sign an informed consent form (and follow study consent rules for teens)
  • Do not currently smoke
  • Do not take vitamin A or beta-carotene supplements
  • Be able to follow study rules (no other drug studies in the last 4 weeks)
