Who can take part

  • You have retinitis pigmentosa with visual field loss between 25% and 50% on a standard vision field test (Humphrey perimetry)
  • You agree to sign informed consent
  • You agree to receive an injection near the eye using stem cells made from umbilical cord tissue
  • You are willing to return for scheduled follow-up visits and multiple eye tests (visual field, Snellen vision, OCT scan, electroretinogram, and a quality-of-life questionnaire)
