Who can take part
- Be age 8 or older (or have a child who is 8+)
- Be going through epilepsy surgery evaluation under one of the listed study protocols
- For patients: your epilepsy must be “focal” confirmed by MRI, EEG, and/or seizure descriptions
- Be able to consent (or have a parent/guardian or legally authorized representative who can)
- For healthy volunteers: be able to do MRI scans without anesthesia and cooperate during the scan
