Rehab training for ankle and leg function after a stroke

Who can take part

  • Your stroke was your first one, on one side of the body, and happened within the last 24 hours to 1 year
  • You currently have weakness or paralysis on one side (hemiplegia or hemiparesis)
  • You are between 18 and 80 years old
  • Your ankle is impaired (not normal or only very mildly affected)
  • You can safely take part in moderate movement exercises (no unstable or severe heart problems)
  • You can understand and follow instructions during training
