Who can take part
- You had your first stroke and it affected only one side of your brain (hemorrhagic or ischemic).
- You have weakness on one side of your body, especially in your ankle (stiff calf or trouble lifting your foot).
- You are between 30 and 85 years old.
- You can do gentle leg exercises and follow simple instructions.
- You do not have severe heart problems, leg pain, open wounds on your leg, or a severely stiff ankle.
