Who can take part
- You are an adult (age 18 or older) with confirmed invasive breast cancer.
- Your breast cancer type is one of these: triple-negative, HER2-positive, or hormone-refractory ER/PR-positive after hormone treatment.
- You have confirmed leptomeningeal metastasis (cancer in the brain lining) by spinal tap (dural puncture) and/or imaging.
- Your health status is strong enough for treatment (ECOG performance score 0–1).
- Your blood and liver/kidney labs meet safety cutoffs (for example, good kidney function and enough white cells and platelets).
- You cannot be allergic to methotrexate, and you cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
