Who can take part

  • You are a child who is admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit
  • Your age/weight is between about 1.8 kg and 15 years old
  • You are currently receiving an antibiotic from the study list (such as vancomycin, meropenem, or amoxicillin-clavulanate)
  • You must have an IV or arterial line (not just the antibiotic line) available so the team can take blood samples
  • You must be able to give consent (parent/guardian or patient, as appropriate)
