Who can take part

  • Be at least 5 years old
  • You (or your legal guardian) can understand the study and sign consent
  • Be able to cooperate with the vision testing during the study visits
  • If you have retinal disease: you must have measurable vision and clear signs of retina function loss or thinning on standard eye tests
  • If you are a healthy volunteer: your vision must be 20/20 or better in at least one eye (with or without glasses/contacts)
  • You must not have cloudy eye media that blocks the view of the retina during eye exams
