Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older
- You have a type B aortic dissection that is “uncomplicated,” with symptoms starting within the last 30 days
- Your pain and blood pressure can be controlled with up to 3 IV blood-pressure medicines, and you’ve been stabilized
- You can get a contrast CT scan (or similar imaging) of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis before starting
- You can sign consent and agree to follow study visits and testing
- Some major exclusions apply: no type A dissection, no complicated dissection, and your blood-vessel anatomy must be suitable for the stent procedure
