Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older when you sign consent
  • Your type B aortic dissection was diagnosed less than 4 weeks ago
  • Your dissection must be “uncomplicated,” not the complicated type
  • You have not had previous descending aorta surgery or TEVAR (a stent procedure)
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
