Who can take part

  • You have stage IV non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
  • You are starting first-time treatment with carboplatin plus paclitaxel.
  • Your energy/function level is good (ECOG 0 to 2).
  • Your kidney, liver, and blood test results are within acceptable ranges.
  • You have a normal kidney ultrasound before starting treatment.
