Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older
- Your most recent coronary heart disease symptoms started within the last 7 days
- Your diagnosis is based on one of these: chest pain lasting over 5 minutes, blood tests showing heart muscle injury, or an ECG showing lack of blood to the heart
- You are not pregnant and do not plan to become pregnant during the study
- You have not joined another drug trial in the past 3 months
- You do not have severe life-threatening complications (or an expected survival of about 1 year or less), certain serious brain/nerve problems, or a history of certain cancers or precancerous lesions
