Who can take part

  • You are an adult having a sleep study because sleep apnea is suspected
  • You can read and speak well enough to complete study tasks
  • You are willing to sign the study consent form
  • You do not currently use positive airway pressure (a breathing device)
  • You do not have a very limited life expectancy from severe kidney disease or uncontrolled cancer
  • You do not have alcohol dependency
