Who can take part
- You must be able to visit the clinical research center in person
- You are either: (1) after RYGB surgery with a documented blood sugar under 50 mg/dl, and you may be without symptoms, or (2) a healthy person without a personal history of diabetes
- No active serious problems with your heart, lungs, liver, stomach/intestines, or kidneys
- You must be able to provide informed consent (and you must not be in a correctional institution or similar setting)
- You must not be pregnant
- If you are after RYGB surgery, you must not have a gastric outlet blockage or severe diarrhea
