Who can take part
- Be at least 18 years old and have newly diagnosed glioblastoma confirmed by biopsy/pathology
- Your tumor must be shown (by pathology) to overexpress EGFR
- You need at least one tumor spot confirmed by biopsy; MRI/CT showing the lesion must be done within 2 weeks of starting if not already biopsied
- Your overall health must be good enough for treatment (Karnofsky 70% or better, or ECOG 0–2) and expected survival of at least 3 months
- Bloodwork must be strong enough: white blood cells, neutrophils, and platelets within required ranges; liver and kidney tests must be near normal (not too high)
- You must not have had chemotherapy in the last 2 weeks or radiation to the brain in the last 8 weeks; avoid starting any new chemo/RT right before enrollment
