Who can take part
- Be age 18 to under 75, and speak and understand French
- Be able to read/understand the study and sign informed consent
- If you have restless legs: symptoms must happen at least 3 times per week for at least 3 years
- If you have restless legs: your restless-legs score must be high (IRLS 15 or more)
- If you have restless legs: you must have enough iron (ferritin over 50) and abnormal leg movements on sleep testing (index over 10 per hour)
- You should not have recent treatments that affect nerves or brain signals (like dopamine medicines or pregabalin/gabapentin in the last 8 days), and avoid many heart/brain-related conditions or specific related causes of restless legs
