Who can take part
- Be an adult age 18 to 65
- Be right-handed
- Be able to speak and understand English well
- For depression groups: score high or low on a depression rating test (HDRS) as required, based on whether you have treatment-resistant depression
- Not have other major mental health diagnoses besides depression (this is checked by interview and records)
- Be able to safely have MRI scans (not blocked by metal/implants or severe claustrophobia)
