Safety study using focused ultrasound for certain brain tumors

Who can take part

  • You have a non-cancerous tumor in the central brain (grade 1) that doctors say has a low bleeding risk
  • Your head size meets the study minimum (head circumference at least 49 cm)
  • You meet an MRI measurement requirement called Skull Density Ratio (SDR) of 0.35 or higher
  • You’ve been on the same condition-related medications for at least 30 days, and you can provide records to confirm it
  • You can keep a seizure diary (paper or log) for 30 days before treatment and during the study
  • Your body can safely undergo MRI: no MRI-incompatible implanted metal devices, and you’re not allergic to MRI contrast or sedating medicines
