Who can take part

  • You are age 18 or older and can give informed consent
  • You have confirmed brain metastases from a solid cancer, and the spot can be treated with SRS or related radiation
  • You expect to live more than 6 months
  • If you take dexamethasone, your dose must be stable before and 1–5 days after SRS
  • You must be able to safely complete an MRI scan that lasts about 45–60 minutes
  • For some groups: your thinking tests (MoCA) must be 26 or higher
