Neural feedback training for people with leg amputations

Who can take part

  • You’re an adult (18 or older).
  • You have a stable leg amputation (below-knee or above-knee) that’s been present for more than 3 months.
  • You’re able and willing to use a prosthesis for standing or walking.
  • Your healthcare team must confirm there are usable nerves in your lower limb for stimulation and feedback.
  • You must have skin that can handle device placement (good skin health and hygiene), and you must be able to follow study visits and procedures.
  • You can’t have medical or safety problems that make nerve stimulation unsafe (like certain heart problems, seizure disorders, or specific uncontrolled conditions).
