  • You have type 1 diabetes for at least 12 months
  • Your recent lab test HbA1c is 7.5% or higher despite diabetes education
  • You’ve had repeated severe low blood sugar episodes or big swings in glucose
  • You are willing and able to wear and use an insulin pump during the study
  • You must not have used an insulin pump before
