Who can take part
- You must be at least 20 years old and weigh at least 54 kg (about 119 pounds).
- You need a confirmed fatty liver condition (NASH) with at least 10% liver fat, seen on imaging.
- Your liver enzyme (ALT) levels must be twice the normal upper limit on two separate tests, 7 or more days apart.
- Your kidney and blood counts should be within a healthy range (e.g., adequate platelets and white blood cells).
- You must be able to undergo MRI scans and avoid alcohol abuse (no more than 1 drink per day on average).
