This trial tests whether using a mirror together with mild electrical stimulation on the skin can improve lower-limb movement after stroke. You may be eligible if you can already lift your ankle a bit and walk independently, and if certain thinking, vision, and skin issues are not present.

Who can take part
- You had one stroke (either blocked blood vessel or brain bleeding) seen on a scan within the last 6 to 36 months
- You can actively lift your ankle upward at least a little while your leg is not against gravity
- You can walk 10 meters by yourself, with or without a walking aid
- You do not have certain stroke-related brain or thinking problems that affect understanding or testing (a brief memory/thinking score of 6+ out of 10)
- You do not have one-sided neglect, loss of half your vision, or trouble doing purposeful movements (apraxia)
- Your skin does not react to the electrical pad or electrodes (no significant allergy or irritation)
