Who can take part

  • You (or your parent/guardian) can sign consent in writing, with child/youth agreement if able
  • Your age is 8 to 24 at the time you sign
  • You were diagnosed with systemic sclerosis when you were 19 or younger
  • Your disease did not improve or got worse after at least 2 disease-modifying arthritis medicines within the last year
  • A heart (cardiology) check says you can safely do a stem cell transplant
  • In blood/virus tests, you must not have HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C
