Who can take part

  • You are starting physical therapy for your first acute ankle sprain (Grade I, II, or III)
  • Your injury happened within 72 hours before you enroll
  • A clinician (doctor, athletic trainer, or physical therapist) diagnosed your ankle sprain
  • You do not have a personal or family history of seizures or epilepsy
  • You do not have migraines or a serious head injury history
  • You do not have certain implants (like cochlear implants, implanted brain stimulators, or metal/aneurysm clips in the head)
